Yes. The Open VetSim supports RECOVER protocols and is actively used by RECOVER-certified instructors for hands-on simulation.
Absolutely. The system includes a scenario builder where you can simulate CPR sessions, injections, shocks, and more — even attach media like X-rays or lab results.
It includes CPR detection with EKG artifact display, chest rise based on airway pressure, pulse palpation feedback, and RFID-based heart/lung sound localization.
The manager laptop comes preloaded with open-source simulation software that includes an instructor interface, vitals monitor, logging tools, and debrief mode.
Yes. A student vitals monitor view is available and can be shown on a second display or device during training.
Instructors can add alternative heart rhythms (V-Tach, V-Fib, Afib, Asystole, R-on-T), heart murmurs, and various breathing sounds (wheezes, fine/coarse crackles), localized to the left, right, or both chest walls.
